Job summary

Scio is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP / Vue.js) to join our core product team in Morelia, Mexico. You will design, build, test, and deploy software solutions that scale and secure.

You will collaborate with peers in an Agile environment, lead root-cause analysis of production issues, evaluate AI-assisted tools, and advocate quality through unit tests and quality gates. A strong background in MySQL/MariaDB, Docker, Git, and modern web stacks is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 6–9 years of software engineering experience.
• Full-stack development with focus on scalable, secure applications.
• MySQL/MariaDB databases; Elasticsearch/Logstash/MongoDB preferred.
• Proficient with Git, Docker, Apache/Linux; familiarity with AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for your area.
• Champion quality with unit tests and quality gates; contribute to test plans.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.
• Drive evaluation of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Evaluate AI-assisted tools and share learnings to improve velocity.
