Scio is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP / Vue.js) to join our core product team in Morelia, Mexico. You will design, build, test, and deploy software solutions that scale and secure.

You will collaborate with peers in an Agile environment, lead root-cause analysis of production issues, evaluate AI-assisted tools, and advocate quality through unit tests and quality gates. A strong background in MySQL/MariaDB, Docker, Git, and modern web stacks is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 6–9 years of software engineering experience.
• Full-stack development with focus on scalable, secure applications.
• MySQL/MariaDB databases; Elasticsearch/Logstash/MongoDB preferred.
• Proficient with Git, Docker, Apache/Linux; familiarity with AI-assisted tools.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP / Vue.js) to join our core product team.

What You'll Do:

• Research, design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for your area
• Champion quality and meet quality requirements for all work, including unit test development, adherence to quality gates, and contribution to test plans
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical production issues
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in all aspects of Agile and other team ceremonies
• Drive technical research and evaluation of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Evaluate and pilot emerging AI-assisted engineering tools and share learnings with the team to improve collective velocity.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
• 6-9 years of software engineering experience
• Full-stack development with focus on scalable, secure applications
• Databases: MySQL/MariaDB (additionally Elasticsearch, Logstash & MongoDB preferred)
• Adept at working with Git (GitHub Actions a plus), containers (Docker), and Apache/Linux
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar) to streamline coding, debugging, and testing workflows.
• An eagerness to explore and leverage AI-driven tools and emerging technologies to enhance software development efficiency and drive innovation.
