THE WORK

• Build and scale secure payment agents handling sensitive financial and health data

• Design and develop full-stack features for patient flows, provider dashboards, and internal tools

• Take ownership of architecture and implementation from concept to deployment

• Collaborate with founders and early users to refine UX and business logic

• Integrate APIs like Plaid, Finix, and Stripe for seamless transactions

• Establish foundational engineering practices, deployment pipelines, and compliance workflows

• Contribute to a product-focused engineering culture as an early team member

REQUIRED EXPERTISE

• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Next.js, and backend development

• Experience building and scaling full-stack JS applications with strong UX and business logic

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments with ambiguity

• Proven track record of delivering production-ready features independently

• Focus on usability, performance, and real-world impact

• Experience integrating third-party APIs, especially in payments/fintech

• Bonus: experience with HIPAA, healthcare tech, or RPA tools

• Commitment to standards like peer review, documentation, automated testing (80%+ code coverage)
