Job summary

Trivelta in Monterrey is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain the core platform powering sportsbook and casino experiences end to end. You’ll work across backend systems and user-facing applications, translating product and design concepts into scalable APIs, robust data flows, and polished interfaces used by thousands of players.

This is a hands-on senior role for engineers who are comfortable moving quickly, mentoring others, and thinking holistically

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems in Python or similar languages.
• Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Next.js, TanStack).
• Ownership of full feature lifecycle from discovery to production.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, analytics, geolocation-based access controls.
• Understanding of AML, KYC, data privacy and related compliance.
• Ability to mentor developers and drive technical decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Bias toward action and product awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end features across backend services and frontend applications, from data models and APIs in Python to responsive interfaces in React and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, resilient APIs and backend components that support web, mobile, and third‑party integrations, with a focus on performance, observability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain user-facing features in React and Next.js, optimizing for responsiveness, performance, and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, security, compliance, and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions that balance speed, quality, and regulatory needs.
• Contribute to and evolve our component library and design system, ensuring consistency across the platform and accelerating development for the broader engineering team.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines that power analytics, fraud detection, geolocation, and regulatory reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely insights.
• Champion performance, security, and compliance (including AML, KYC, and data privacy) across the stack, working proactively to identify and mitigate risks.
• Participate in incident response, monitoring, and root‑cause analysis, helping maintain system stability and a high‑quality player experience.
• Mentor and support other engineers, sharing best practices, reviewing code, and helping elevate the overall technical bar of the team.
• Influence product direction by thinking from first principles about user experience, business impact, edge cases, and the tradeoffs between under‑and over‑engineering in a fast‑paced environment.
