Job summary

Blend seeks a Senior FullStack Engineer to lead backend architecture with Python/Flask and hands-on frontend with React/TypeScript. You will architect scalable REST and async APIs, manage GCP-based deployment, and drive secure, test-driven development across teams.

The role requires mentoring, technical leadership, and ownership of delivery across full-stack projects, including CI/CD and data tooling with BigQuery and Spanner. English proficiency is required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Deep Python expertise with Flask or similar frameworks.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript for production features.
• Experience designing scalable REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with GCP services and monitoring.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform.
• Security best practices and dependency management.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture and API design using Python and Flask.
• Design and implement scalable REST and async APIs.
• Provide hands-on frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Design and optimize database solutions with Spanner and SQL (and BigQuery).
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies (pytest, Jest, Playwright).
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker.
• Champion security practices in development workflows.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on full-stack patterns.
• Own technical delivery across feature teams.
