Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to architect and deploy full-stack cloud applications using Java, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Run. You will lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native services and own CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.

Collaboration with product managers and global squads across Mexico, the US, and India is essential. Required 5+ years in full-stack development, proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, React/Angular, REST APIs, and cloud

Formación

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
Experience migrating enterprise apps to cloud environments.
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

Responsabilidades

Architect and deploy full-stack cloud applications using Java, React, PostgreSQL, and GCP.
Lead migration of legacy ASP.NET/C# backends to cloud-native services.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and testing suites.

Descripción del empleo

Architect, build, and deploy full-stack cloud applications using Java, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Run
Lead migration and modernization of legacy ASP.NET/C# backends and SQL Server databases into modern cloud-native services
Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines using GitHub Actions, API security tooling, and automated testing suites
Author unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code coverage, reliability, and security compliance
Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and global engineering squads across Mexico, the US, and India
Translate complex business requirements into user-friendly software solutions
Champion Agile engineering practices within bi-weekly sprint cycles
Lead story mapping, technical documentation, and code reviews

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Typically 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including hands-on experience migrating enterprise applications to modern cloud environments
Proficiency in modern Java development, such as Spring Boot
Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
Foundational experience with C# / .NET and relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server
Strong working knowledge of React or Angular
Experience with RESTful API design
Experience with XML/JSON data processing
Experience with Git-based workflows
Demonstrated experience implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams across distributed global time zones
Professional working proficiency in English, verbal and written
Strong cross-cultural communication skills
