A technology company is seeking a Full-stack Engineer to manage equity projects and collaborate with teams across Europe. The ideal candidate has proven experience in React and TypeScript, with strong independent work skills. Responsibilities include developing products for equity distribution and managing significant projects. Remote work experience is beneficial but not required.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Frontend or Full-stack Engineer, including building, shipping, and maintaining feature-rich software projects
• Proficiency in React
• Proficiency in Typescript, semantic HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with GraphQL, Postgres, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in dealing with ambiguity, transforming abstract concepts into working software
• Strong ability to work independently and self-guided
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop
• Fluency in English
• Remote work experience is a plus but not required

What the job involves

• Managing everything related to equity for our customers at RemoteEquity
• Working within a team of 10 distributed across Europe, responsible for two products
• Developing a product that provides company managers with insights into equity distribution, taxation, reporting, and educational content for employees
• Building a premium product that enables equity managers to grant stock options in over 70 countries, with a framework for building company's equity playbook and educational content
• Collaborating closely with a team of developers and designers, as well as operations, legal, and management teams
• Participating in the Remote engineering team, working with Frontend, Backend, SRE, Data, and QA engineers
• Using a tech stack that includes TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Postgres (different from Remote's main platform)
• Maintaining key partnerships and integrations, including with Remote backend
• Utilizing GitLab, Linear, and AWS for development, issue tracking, hosting, and deployment, with fully automated CI pipelines
• Leading major projects, participating in product development, providing feedback, and suggesting improvements
• Implementing interfaces considering performance, accessibility, and API design
• Engaging in code reviews, support rotations, hiring, RFC discussions, and mentoring
• Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager at RemoteEquity
