Job summary

InfoVision Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to own and scale our enterprise design system, building reusable, accessible components for web (React) and mobile (React Native).

You will drive the evolution of the design system and ensure high-performance delivery across platforms. You will lead architecture, theming, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and token-based design systems, mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and promote AI-assisted development to speed up delivery and improve quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years web and mobile app development.
• 3+ years with React and React Native.
• 3+ years building and maintaining a component library or design system used by multiple teams, with production releases to npm or a private registry.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, keyboard navigation, screen reader testing) applied to reusable components.
• Experience with token-based design systems (Style Dictionary, Figma Tokens, etc.) and theming across platforms.
• Strong experience with responsive design, layout systems, and interaction design, including animation performance.
• Hands-on daily use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and measurable impact.
• Experience with Storybook, unit and component testing (Jest, RTL), and visual regression testing.
• Experience working with distributed teams in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of React Native performance on iOS/Android, including offline storage, threading, profiling.

Responsibilities

You will also lead the adoption of AI-assisted development practices that speed up delivery and raise code quality.

• Own the architecture, API design, versioning, and roadmap of the enterprise component library, working across React (web) and React Native (iOS/Android).
• Design and maintain a token-based theming system (color, typography, spacing, motion) that stays in sync with design tools.
• Build components that meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards and verify accessibility in code, not only in design reviews.
• Define documentation, usage guidelines, and contribution standards for product teams consuming the library.
• Lead and perform code reviews, set quality bars, and mentor engineers on component design.
• Introduce and standardize AI-powered tooling for component generation, test creation, documentation, and workflow automation.
• Coordinate library releases and breaking-change migrations with consuming squads.
• Work with product, UX/UI, and QA to turn requirements into well-tested, high-quality components.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of web and mobile application development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and React Native.
• 3+ years building and maintaining a component library or design system used by multiple teams, with production releases to npm or a private registry.
• Demonstrated experience with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, keyboard navigation, screen reader testing) applied to reusable components.
• Experience with token-based design systems (for example, Style Dictionary, Figma Tokens, or equivalent) and with theming across platforms.
• Strong experience with responsive design, layout systems, and interaction design, including animation performance.
• Hands-on, daily use of AI-assisted development tools (for example, Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) to improve velocity, code quality, testing, and documentation. You should be able to describe concrete workflows you built and how you measured their impact.
• Experience with Storybook (or similar), unit and component testing (Jest, React Testing Library), and visual regression testing.
• Experience working with distributed teams in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of React Native performance on iOS and Android, including offline storage, threading, and profiling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with react-native-web or other shared component strategies across mobile and web.
• Experience consuming RESTful JSON APIs and integrating backend services.
• Experience with Git, Redux, and semantic versioning and changelog practices for shared packages.
• Knowledge of C#.
• Healthcare, Epic, or other EHR experience.
