Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the US Content Finance team by consolidating financial information, maintaining dashboards, analyzing performance variances, and transforming large volumes of data into clear, executive-level insights.

This role focuses on business analytics, financial reporting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for US television content lines of business.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong English communication and ability to interact with US teams.
  • Excellent Excel skills with large datasets and Power Query experience.
  • Solid knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, forecast and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle EPM/Hyperion and Power BI preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Review forecasts and scenarios to support decision-making.

Your New Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the US Content Finance team by consolidating financial information, maintaining dashboards, analyzing performance variances, and transforming large volumes of data into clear, executive-level insights. This role will focus on business analytics, financial reporting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for US television content lines of business, including networks such as Turner, TNT, TBS, HGTV, and Cooking.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex datasets across multiple channels. They will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, identifying opportunities for automation, and preparing financial narratives that help senior stakeholders understand business drivers, forecast changes, and content expense trends.

Your Role Accountabilities
  • Manage and update the US Content dashboard, ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and ready for stakeholder review.
  • Consolidate US Content financial metrics, including investment and expense information, for monthly reporting and analysis.
  • Review forecasts, numerical scenarios, and financial data to project results and support decision-making.
  • Validate consistency between forecasts, dashboards, and data sources, identifying discrepancies or data errors when needed.
  • Perform variance analysis against prior forecast, plan, prior year, and target, translating key drivers into clear executive narratives.
  • Prepare executive summaries and financial reporting materials for US stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support monthly reporting activities related to content amortization expenses across US Networks.
  • Coordinate with Content Finance, LDCI, LWM, COE, and other business stakeholders to align data, reporting needs, and action items.
  • Transform complex data from multiple channels into clear, actionable reports, Power BI dashboards, and consultation pages.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes, including the use of AI tools such as Copilot or cloud-based solutions.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail when working with templates, dashboards, and large data files to ensure outputs are error-free.
Qualifications & Experiences
  • 4–7 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business analytics, or related finance roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced English communication skills, with the ability to interact fluently with teams based in the US.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, shortcuts, Power Query, complex files, and large datasets; macros are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, assets, liabilities, forecast, budget, long-range planning, and scenario modeling.
  • Experience or familiarity with SAP, SmartView, Oracle EPM/Hyperion, Oracle PM, SAP S/4, and Power BI is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze financial drivers, explain variances, and build concise storytelling for executive-level audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy when handling multiple data sources and reporting templates.
  • Interest in process improvement, automation, and the use of AI-enabled tools to increase efficiency and reporting quality.
  • Comfortable presenting complex financial information to senior stakeholders in a clear and business-oriented way.
