Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Eight or more years of engineering experience in gas turbine engines or turbomachinery.
• Knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM).
• Experience with structural simulation software: ANSYS Classic, ANSYS Workbench, SimSolid, OptiStruct.
• Experience with engine externals design/analysis or turbomachinery components.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for junior engineering team members.
• Perform, review, and mentor activities covering mechanical analysis, gas turbine components, hand calculations, and documentation.
• Implement product definition criteria ensuring producibility and manufacturability of components.
• Oversee and mentor design of Turbomachinery hardware (e.g., brackets, ducts, tubes, hoses, harnesses).
• Manage and prioritize projects; report progress to program management and customers.
• Monitor project schedules and resolve issues to meet milestones.
• Maintain engineering records and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as required.
