ALTEN Mexico, a subsidiary of ALTEN Group, is seeking an experienced Structural FEA Engineer to join the engineering team in Mexico. You will document internal modeling and simulation processes, support users debugging models, and refine simulation workflows across multi‑discipline projects.

The role requires 5+ years in structural FEA, strong Abaqus and OptiStruct experience, and Linux proficiency. You will generate comprehensive reports, collaborate with teams across regions, and contribute to

• Experience in structural FEA – Advanced (5+ years).
• Abaqus – Intermediate (2–5 years).
• OptiStruct – Intermediate (2–5 years).
• LS-DYNA – Intermediate (2–5 years).
• Nonlinear analysis – Intermediate (2–5 years).
• Durability analysis – Intermediate (2–5 years).
• Explicit analysis – Basic (1 year).
• ANSA or Hyperworks – Basic (1 year).
• META or Hyperview – Basic (1 year).
• Linux familiarity – Intermediate (2–5 years).

Responsabilidades

• Understand and document the company’s internal modeling and simulation processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users for debugging simulation models.
• Identify and share best practices for FEA and simulation workflows.
• Perform detailed structural analyses using various FEA tools.
• Generate comprehensive technical reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine and validate simulation models.
• Maintain and improve internal tools and methods for nonlinear and durability analyses.
