Job summary

Halliburton in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico seeks an Experienced ESP Engineer to design, propose and optimize artificial lift systems. The role involves advanced ESP concepts, post-well evaluations and guidance to clients on technical matters.

The candidate must have 8+ years in ESP design, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with ESP software tools. On-site attendance at client sites is expected for project delivery and support.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM careers – Electronics, Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Eng., Science, Math, Technology or similar.
• 8 years of verifiable experience in design and application of electric submersible pumping (ESP) systems.
• Advanced electrical and mechanical knowledge of onshore and offshore ESP operations.
• Experience handling clients at operational and administrative levels.
• Knowledge of ESP application design software tools.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in artificial lift application recommendations and artificial lift proposal development.
• Generates technical papers and performance profiles applying engineering principles and advanced ESP concepts.
• Performs post-well evaluations of artificial lift performance and tracks product development projects.
• Provides technical and operational guidance to internal and external customers.
• Uses project management skills to organize and execute assignments.
• Demonstrates competency to perform all Technical Professional functions.
