A leading social impact organization in Mexico is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Nonprofit Starters team. This role involves managing a team of engineers to design and deliver solutions for nonprofits, integrating powerful fundraising tools, and fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in engineering leadership, expertise in full-stack development, and a passion for social change.

Change.org is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and empower a team to design, validate, and scale features that make Change.org’s petition platform indispensable to nonprofit and mission‑driven organizations, making them a key user group on Change.org.
As the leader of our newly-formed Nonprofit Starters squad, you’ll manage and mentor a team of five engineers, partnering closely with Product and Design to define and deliver a roadmap that meets the needs of organizational changemakers around the world. Your work will empower nonprofits to launch impactful, scalable campaigns and build lasting movements on Change.org. You will report directly to our VP of Engineering and play a key role in shaping the platform’s next phase of growth and strategic focus.
A bit about Change.org: we’re a social impact business (a public benefit company), and the world's largest social change platform, with 100 million monthly users, over 40,000 campaigns launched on the site every month, and a 100% user-generated, profitable revenue model. Our users win campaigns for change once every hour. In the last decade in Mexico, from the mobilization against the Maya train to the campaign to increase vacation days, many nationwide movements were created on Change.org. From the campaign Cáncer Warriors to ask for the release of the elephant Eli, dozens of local, national and international victories are happening every day thanks to the power of our users who are changing our country.
We’re open to the right candidate at either the Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager level — title and scope will be calibrated based on experience.

Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our salaries are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined salary scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labor for that location.
