Donaldson is seeking a Senior Engineer (VAVE) to lead cost-down initiatives across a broad product portfolio within Mobile Solutions, Air Product Management and Engineering. You will partner with global teams to identify opportunities, influence priorities, and drive successful product transitions.

You will own and implement product value improvements, collaborating with manufacturing facilities and cross-functional groups to optimize costs while maintaining quality and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in Engineering, preferably automotive or a related function.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in statistics, enterprise data, and visualization tools.
• Availability to travel once per quarter.

Responsabilidades

• Product VAVE Strategy: Identify and lead opportunities to improve cost for a defined set of products and support commercial, operations, purchasing and engineering teams to get these implemented.
• Cross‑functional Global Collaboration: Work closely with global sales, engineering, operations and purchasing to support and execute efficiency improvements.
• Plant Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with Donaldson production facilities to leverage operational insights to drive product value improvement. Assist completion of operation’s Cost Reduction Pipeline initiatives by providing engineering support and guidance.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Identify opportunities to phase out products, rationalize our portfolio offering and support transitions from legacy products to updated offerings.
