Merit Medical in Tijuana, MX is seeking a skilled engineer to tackle technical problems, develop prototypes, and lead ECN documentation. The role includes collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance innovative medical devices.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s in engineering with substantial related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with standard software. Expect onsite work with multi-shift options.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field, with six years of related experience (or higher degrees with more experience).
• Ability to apply analytical skills and scientific/technical principles to problem solving.
• Strong computer skills with spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and related software.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to work as a team.
• Working knowledge of United States and international standards as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Makes decisions on technical problems and methods which require advanced techniques and extension of theories and practices.
• Receives guidance relating to overall objectives and policy matters, while supervisor consulted on unusual problems.
• May supervise technicians or others who assist in specific assignments.
• Works on special projects, writes ECNs, and creates prototypes.
• Performs other related duties and tasks as required.
