Merit Medical, based in Tijuana, Mexico, seeks an engineering professional to tackle complex technical problems and lead prototype efforts. The role involves applying advanced methods and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept to ECN creation.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in engineering or a related field with substantial experience, or an advanced degree with significant related work.

Formación

• Bachelor's in engineering/technical field with six years related experience; or Master's with four years; or PhD with two.
• Ability to apply analytical, scientific, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work as a team.
• Working knowledge of US and international standards applicable to the department.

Responsabilidades

• Make decisions on technical problems using advanced techniques and modify theories as needed.
• Receive supervision on objectives and policy matters, consulting the supervisor for unusual problems.
• Possibly supervise technicians and collaborate with engineers on assignments.
• Work on special projects, write ECNs, and create prototypes.
• Perform other related duties as required.
