Job summary

Valeo is seeking an Engineering Disciplines Manager in Queretaro to oversee discipline budgeting, QCD performance, and design methodology across projects. The role involves mentoring designers, driving efficiency, and ensuring alignment with group standards within our R&D organization.

You will collaborate with Engineering Managers and Project Leaders to integrate the discipline into project plans while maintaining high quality and delivery standards.

Responsibilities

• Budget: Contribute and Accountable to Team Projects Budget and support Engineering Manager and Design Leaders in budget definitions.
• Support Operations: Lead Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance of the discipline within projects.
• Ensure compliance with Discipline Methodology: Enforce standard methodologies, best practices, KPIs.
• Support design solutions and reuse: Oversee design solutions and promote reuse of components.
• Technical Design Reviews: Oversee Technical Design Reviews conducted by discipline reviewers.
