Valeo seeks an Electronic Design Leader to drive the deliverables of the Metier for automotive electronics projects in a leadership capacity. You will manage a group of engineers and technicians, plan detailed scheduling and budgeting, and ensure adherence to Metier processes, design rules, and quality standards.

You will interact with customers to align Metier content and drive project milestones through CPM and SPICE methodologies.

Qualificações

• 7 to 8 years of experience in design automotive electronic systems
• Experience in embedded systems and the transportation industry
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and people-management skills

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Metier deliverables and plan activities to meet milestones
• Manage engineers/technicians assigned to projects
• Ensure compliance with Metier processes and design rules
• Plan, monitor and control activities per CPM and SPICE guidelines
• Oversee robust design for manufacturing and validation within budget
• Interface with customers on Metier content and requirements
• Report to Product Technical Manager/Leader and Hierarchy as needed
• Oversee resource needs, equipment and investments for the Metier scope
• Daily management of the group and assignment of work packages
• Ensure quality, safety, environmental and governance requirements
