Qualcomm is seeking an experienced engineer to deploy computer vision and generative AI models on Qualcomm platforms, including IoT and data center offerings. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable AI solutions and leading customer engagements across discovery to production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with ML frameworks, and help optimize AI workloads on edge devices while ensuring high-quality support and documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, etc.
• Experience with embedded systems – exposure to Linux-based systems (Yocto/Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in deep learning and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, TFLite, PyTorch, Onnx) and deployment-oriented workflows.
• 1+ year of device debugging techniques.
• 4+ years of delivering customer-facing IoT/Edge AI solutions from PoC to production.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent communication.

Responsabilidades

• Support deployment of computer vision and generative AI models on Qualcomm platforms.
• Assist pre-sales and post-sales engagements by translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions leveraging Qualcomm AI engines and SoCs.
• Provide internal enablement and help resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align requirements and validate end-to-end solutions.
• Improve tools, workflows and documentation by identifying gaps and enhancements.
• Assist in developing generative AI features into Qualcomm platform applications.
• Perform model benchmarking and latency analysis to meet KPIs.
• Act as technical lead for customer engagements from discovery to production.
