Job Description

Job Title: Sr DevOps Engineer

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Role Description: The Sr DevOps Engineer will build, manage, and automate infrastructure, tools, and services that make operating a massive, large-scale distributed system simple and easy. You will own end-to-end customer experience, channel requirements to improve service performance, scalability, and reliability.

What will you do:

• Bridge the gap between business applications, cloud operations, customer support, and engineering to bring solutions together.
• Review and analyze application code to identify root causes and provide solution options, including contingency plans.
• Provide performance and feature improvement recommendations to enhance customer experience.
• Improve provisioning, automation, configuration, integration, deployment, and release processes.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams on engineering projects.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's culture and values.

Ideal experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with *NIX systems, Java, Linux/Unix, Ruby, Perl, Python.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools like Chef or Puppet.
• Experience with System Monitoring and Logging solutions.
• Strong customer relationship skills and vendor management experience.
• Financial Services and mortgage industry experience preferred.
