THE WORK

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes and Istio infrastructure on AWS

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform

• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance workflows and improve the developer experience

• Automate release, rollback, and disaster recovery processes to ensure system reliability

• Leverage Karpenter for dynamic autoscaling of Kubernetes clusters on AWS, optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency

• Work closely with security teams to integrate security practices across the development lifecycle

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Istio, AWS, Terraform, and CI systems (for example, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)

• Proven ability to leverage cloud services and open-source software to drive business results

• Experience with Karpenter to automate cluster scaling and optimize resource usage on AWS

• Strong understanding of security best practices and collaboration with security teams

• Demonstrated success in building scalable systems and collaborating cross-functionally
