Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Mexico to support automotive software development and testing infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation frameworks across distributed teams.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, delivering reliable build and test environments, and mentoring engineers on best practices. You will collaborate with development, testing, and IT teams to raise delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps, CI/CD, build/release roles or similar.
• Hands-on design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced knowledge of Git and version-control workflows.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Linux environments and Docker.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automotive software projects.
• Automate build, integration, testing, deployment, and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
• Manage and optimize build and test environments for distributed teams.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (software, integration, system).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC principles.
• Create scripts/tools using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Configure and maintain build agents, runners, VMs, containers, and CI infrastructure.
• Monitor pipeline performance and drive improvements; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and leads to improve workflows.
