EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer to drive CI/CD pipelines, automate complex infrastructure, and scale self-hosted runners in enterprise environments. The role emphasizes Python as the core language for automation and workflow optimization.

You will design robust automation, manage container workloads with Docker/Podman, and apply IaC using Terraform across distributed teams and projects at EPAM.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional DevOps or automation engineering experience.
• Advanced Python mastery with production-grade scripts for automation, APIs, and DevOps.
• Hands-on CI/CD with GitHub Actions in production environments.
• Proven experience configuring and scaling GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong Docker/Podman container lifecycle, registries, and deploying to episodic services.
• Networking fundamentals: TLS, DNS, proxies, firewalls; automation workflows.
• SRE mindset with pipeline telemetry, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• English at C1 level or higher with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Write, test, and maintain Python scripts to automate infrastructure, administration, and pipeline tasks.
• Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows with YAML, matrices, environments, caching, and artifacts.
• Build, secure, and scale self-hosted runners within enterprise environments, handling network constraints.
• Create reusable workflows using workflow_call, composite actions, and custom action publishing.
• Containerize automation with Docker/Podman and deploy to Artifactory, Azure Container Registry, or GitHub Packages.
• Utilize serverless/episodic environments like Azure Container Apps and GitHub Runners for scaling workloads.
• Enforce CI/CD security practices: least-privilege tokens, CODEOWNERS, signed actions, and action pinning.
• Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform and IaC tools.
