EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to architect, build, automate, and manage our global infrastructure across on-prem data centers and cloud environments. You will lead critical automation initiatives and own the systems that support our multinational operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on ops background, Linux administration, networking, and IaC with Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible, plus mentoring teammates and shaping technical direction.

Formación

• 3+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering with production responsibility.
• Experience with remote administration for colocation hardware.
• Strong Linux admin experience at scale (Red Hat/Debian).
• Core networking knowledge: DNS, load balancing, Cisco gear.
• Automation for infra via Ansible, Puppet, or similar.
• Python or similar language for tooling.
• GCP production experience (Compute Engine, IAM).
• Ability to lead infrastructure projects and mentor engineers.
• Excellent English proficiency (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Architect and manage large-scale multi data center infrastructure across on-prem, GCP, and AWS.
• Lead automation for deployment and configuration management with IaC tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
• Design and maintain traffic management, load balancing, and DNS systems at scale.
• Build and oversee monitoring and observability across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Create tooling that supports distributed, auditable systems administration.
• Draft and maintain process, policy, and procedural documentation for the infrastructure team.
