Senior Developer - Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for Exciting Projects Remote in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Coahuila

We are seeking a talented Senior Developer specializing in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about software development and observability, this is an excellent opportunity for you to make a significant impact!

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage your 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on observability and SRE practices.
  Implement monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Datadog and AppDynamics to enhance application performance and ensure exceptional end-user experiences.
• Utilize log aggregation tools such as Splunk or Elastic to analyze application logs effectively.
  Manage alerting and incident response with PagerDuty and apply proficiency in OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication and foster improved collaboration.
• Mentor and upskill team members on observability practices and contribute to building robust CI/CD pipelines that integrate observability tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of experience in AppDynamics Administration, and 8 years of experience in creating observability solutions for large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools and security logging practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their observability offerings.
• Possession of relevant certifications in observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk) or SRE practices.

Soft Skills:

• Proactive mindset and strong team player.
• Empathetic and responsible with a commitment to quality work.

Location & Schedule:

• Remote work from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Coahuila.
• Work hours Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
• Advanced English skills are mandatory, and only residents of GDL, MTY, Coahuila, and CDMX.
