Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our advanced structures team focused on structural analysis and development of nacelles, TRs, inlets, EBU systems, and fan cowls for commercial and business jets. You will lead root-cause analyses, review complex designs, and guide cross‑functional projects.

We require a STEM degree and 5+ years in product design, with CATIA V5 and PLM proficiency, and excellent English communication.

Formación

Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of experience.
5 years in product design and development.
Proficiency with CATIA V5 and PLM systems; MS Office.
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
Preferred: mechanical/aerospace focus; CATIA CPD and Power BI/SharePoint knowledge.

Responsabilidades

Lead resolution of complex technical problems through root cause analysis and evaluating alternatives.
Review and validate engineering deliverables for standards and specifications.
Manage medium-scale engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
Support operations and manufacturing to ensure conformance to engineering standards.
Oversee RCCA activities and implement corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance to ensure design quality and best practices.
Collaborate with teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Travel up to 20%.
