Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Mexico seeks an experienced CAD/ GD&T engineer to improve the design documentation process and ensure conformance to ASME Y14.5M GD&T standards. The role includes audits, data management, and coaching of designers and checkers.

The ideal candidate has a strong CAD background (CREO/NX), knowledge of PLM processes, and is capable of mentoring teams to uphold engineering standards across design and fabrication activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with CAD design experience and GD&T proficiency.
• Experience applying GD&T per ASME Y14.5M and fabrication/assembly standards.
• Ability to mentor designers and checking staff on design standards.
• Proficient with CREO and/or NX CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Audit drawing formats for compliance with standards and specifications.
• Perform design data checks, BOM verification, and tolerance analysis.
• Maintain and improve engineering processes for downstream manufacturing and documentation.
• Provide training and coaching on engineering design standards.
