Clari + Salesloft in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end research projects that power AI-driven sales solutions.

You will design experiments, explore NLP and agentic AI approaches, collaborate with product and engineering, and mentor junior researchers while translating findings into production-ready features. Hybrid work model with onsite presence in Guadalajara as needed.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as an AI Researcher, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer.
• 1+ years deploying ML/AI features in production.
• Proven experience owning and leading research projects, from scoping to production-ready models.
• Deep expertise in AI agent systems, NLP, and classic machine learning methodologies.
• Proven ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior researchers.
• Experience translating complex research findings into actionable insights for product and engineering.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts and advocate for strategic research directions.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing, ML, AI agents.
• Familiarity with frameworks for agentic AI (LangGraph, Google ADK, Open AI Agents SDK)

Senior Data Scientist

Location: Guadalajara, Mexico, Hybrid. This is a remote/hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Guadalajara, Mexico office as needed. Candidates must be based in Guadalajara.

The Opportunity

At Clari + Salesloft, our Senior Data Scientists will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Data Science team, taking full ownership of projects that redefine how sellers work and drive revenue. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for exploring and applying the latest advances in AI to solve real-world challenges for our customers.

Specifically, you will:

• Apply your expertise in agentic systems, NLP, and machine learning to build solutions that enhance the productivity and effectiveness of sales professionals.
• Design and run robust experiments, translating ambiguous problems into concrete research questions and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure your research paves a clear path to production and delivers value to our users.
• Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert, identifying new opportunities for innovation and influencing the direction of our AI roadmap.

The Skill Set

• 5+ years of overall experience as an AI Researcher, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer
• 1+ years of experience with deploying ML/AI features in production
• Demonstrated experience owning and leading research projects, from initial scoping and experimental design to delivering prototypes or production‑ready models.
• Deep expertise in AI agent systems, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and classic machine learning methodologies.
• Proven ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior researchers, elevating the work of the entire team.
• Experience translating complex research findings into actionable insights for cross‑functional partners in product and engineering.
• Superb communication skills; you must be able to articulate complex technical concepts and advocate for strategic research directions
• Familiarity with python for data processing, ML, AI agents
• Familiarity with frameworks for agentic AI (LangGraph, Google ADK, Open AI Agents SDK etc)
