The Coca-Cola Company in Mexico City is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to shape data flows across our enterprise ecosystem. You will design and implement integration frameworks powering batch and streaming workloads on Microsoft Fabric and Synapse Analytics using Spark and Scala.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, tuning performance, and contributing to robust recruitment frameworks for regional talent acquisition. Strong CI/CD and DevOps practices are required.

Formación

• Strong proficiency in Scala programming with functional programming concepts.
• Spark Expertise with 3+ years building and optimizing distributed apps (Scala/Java preferred).
• Experience designing data models for analytics (STAR, Vault, Tabular).
• Experience building REST-based microservices on the JVM.
• Synapse/Fabric experience with Azure data services (Synapse, ADF, Functions).
• DevOps CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, Maven/SBT.
• Experience with Hadoop, Delta Lake, or similar on cloud platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop data integration pipelines and backend services for structured and unstructured data using Apache Spark with Scala.
• Build and optimize distributed computing applications for scalable batch and streaming workloads within Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Performance tuning: partitioning, memory config, query optimization, workload balancing on large datasets.
• Contribute to recruitment criteria and collaborate with peers to ensure robust hiring processes.
• Coordinate recruitment in assigned regions to meet Talent & Leadership targets.
• Implement recruitment automation to streamline engagement and insights.
