DataArt is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize production-grade data pipelines for a large-scale data migration in a capital markets setting. You will build robust ETL/ELT processes on AWS, ensure data quality and reconciliation, and collaborate with data architects and analysts to meet business requirements.

The role is hands-on, developer-focused, and requires strong Java, SQL, and Python skills.

Formación

• Production-grade Java, Python and SQL experience required.
• Strong background in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Cloud data migration experience in AWS with data quality emphasis.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, and dbt.
• Spend most time coding and reviewing code.
• Integrate data from Oracle and PostgreSQL legacy systems into AWS.
• Write and optimize SQL and Java/Python data transformations.
• Define coding standards, CI/CD, and deployment procedures.
• Mentor mid-level engineers through technical direction and reviews.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and traceability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with data architects on models and transformation strategies.
• Optimize pipelines for performance and cost on AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift.
• Implement error handling, logging, and observability.
• Work with analysts to ensure migrated data meets business needs.
• Troubleshoot data and code issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to data platform architecture and documentation.
