AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and scale a modern data platform. You will design ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas, and implement data quality and lineage frameworks.

The role uses Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster to orchestrate workflows, with strong emphasis on clean Python code and reliable data services. You will work on REST API integrations, event-driven sources, and automated testing, while applying CI/CD and Docker to data repositories.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong Python programming with well-tested code.
• Advanced SQL skills and data modeling knowledge.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience and schema design expertise.
• Production workflow orchestration with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows from diverse sources.
• Design Snowflake schemas (normalized/denormalized) for analytics.
• Ingest data from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources.
• Maintain and expand Airflow/Prefect/Dagster pipelines.
• Implement automated data quality checks, lineage, and alerting.
• Drive CI/CD, Git, Docker usage, and IaC practices.
• Apply software engineering standards and document clearly.
