Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in a part-time advisory capacity to review AWS architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and data pipelines for a media analytics platform. You will mentor the engineering team and guide on cost-effective, high-quality engineering practices.

The role focuses on AWS toolchains (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, SageMaker), IaC with Terraform, and evaluating AI-assisted development workflows for quality and governance. Flexible schedule with partial remote options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience including ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS, S3, SageMaker, EventBridge, VPC/ALB/CloudFront, IAM.
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.

Responsibilities

• Audit current AWS architecture across live apps (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFront).
• Review CI/CD process and end-to-end lifecycle, advise on SDLC governance, environment separation, release gating.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for PR generation, automated reviews, and cost management.
