  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytics tools and environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data processing software.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders, demonstrating listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and collaborative environment.

gTech’s Product and Tools Operations team (gPTO) leverages deep user, operational, and technical insights to innovate Google's Ads products into customer experiences that are so intuitive (or automated) that they require no support at all. gPTO partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

As a Data Engineer on the Ads Marketing Analytics team, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that fuels our marketing measurement. You will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analysis and reporting. Your technical expertise will enable the marketing team to leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and measure the impact of marketing initiatives. You will leverage AI in your work. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, data science, engineering, analytics) to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize data infrastructure for performance and efficiency to meet evolving business needs.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights to the marketing team.
