Position Overview

In Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc., we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst for our New Innovation Center in Nuevo Leon. This role is responsible for product master data integrity, governing the Enterprise Change Management (ECM) process, and ensuring that product changes are executed with speed and accuracy across both Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) environments. The scope includes sustaining and improving processes related to creation and maintenance of master data, resolving data issues, identifying process improvements, and supporting data changes and change control throughout the product lifecycle in both PLM & ERP systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure accurate creation and maintenance of product information, starting with PLM bills of material (BOM) and associated documentation, extending into manufacturing ERP BOM structures and material revisions.
  2. Maintain data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with data governance policies.
  3. Manage the ECM process supporting multiple global partners, including Product Engineering, Platform Management, NPD Project Management, and others. Provide user training regularly.
  4. Understand and govern end-to-end data structure, including multiple sources of truth, system dependencies, and downstream consumers related to product creation, BOM management, and labeling.
  5. Set up, approve, and maintain product records, ensuring proper storage and publication within systems.
  6. Create and maintain product information from CAD component data through BOMs and documentation, into manufacturing ERP BOM structures.
  7. Manage global part creation, BOM, and label processes; review and analyze for efficiency; lead process changes and issue resolution.
  8. Analyze process metrics and develop strategies for efficiency improvements; lead process optimization initiatives.
  9. Identify and propose business solutions impacting GPD processes and master data; provide necessary training for continuous improvement.
  10. Attract, develop, and retain talent to successfully execute ECM supporting Global Product Development, Engineering, and Innovation strategies. Deliver skill development programs to align competencies with goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, information technology, systems, management, or related field.
  • Valid Visa and willingness to travel.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering change management, BOM maintenance, data management, and change control within an ERP/PLM environment.
  • Subject matter expertise in engineering change control processes linked to a distributed manufacturing environment, connecting PLM systems with ERP systems. Preferred platforms include SolidWorks, Altium CAD, Dassault 3D Experience/Enovia, SAP, and Oracle ERP.
  • Effective change management skills and experience managing organizational projects in a matrixed environment. Ability to influence, deliver tough messages, and resolve conflicts.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across multiple global stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated urgency, perseverance, and passion for learning and adopting new technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-starter attitude, and ability to handle fluctuating priorities.
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of new products.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; team player mentality.
