Job summary

A2MAC1 is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in Querétaro to lead complex L3 incident response and preventive engineering across identity, endpoint, email, DLP, cloud, DevOps, Product and AI security. You will design resilient security solutions and turn incidents into prioritized roadmaps with automation and guardrails.

The role requires 5–8 years in IT security, engineering degree or equivalent, and professional English.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Master’s in IT/Security is preferred.
• Professional English with strong audit narrative writing.
• Azure security tooling experience required (Azure Defender, Sentinel).

Responsibilities

• Own one or more security capabilities/platforms end-to-end.
• Act as L3 technical authority for complex incidents and perform deep RCA.
• Improve vulnerability management and remediation patterns.
• Tune anti-phishing and DLP policies with governance.
• Embed security into DevOps and product environments.
• Design and maintain AI security patterns aligned with compliance needs.
• Refine SOC escalation criteria and runbooks to reduce noise.
• Mentor teams on secure engineering practices.
