Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office is seeking a seasoned security architect to protect enterprise data and architectures against cyber threats. You will design, analyze, and validate secure patterns for both on-premise and cloud environments, driving hardening initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, Cyber Security, or related area.
• 3+ years of programming experience (Python, JavaScript, C, C++, Java).
• 4+ years of software and/or application testing (QA, test cases).
• 2+ years hands-on experience with major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 2+ years leadership role in projects/programs.
• 2+ years’ experience developing and/or assessing IT architectural designs.
• 5+ years cyber security experience in Networking, Web apps, Cryptography, OS Hardening, OIDC/OAuth, scripting.
• OWASP Top 10 for web apps and LLMs.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001:2022, NIST 800-53 and NIST CSF.
• Ability to understand and collaborate on technical concepts related to software architecture, data and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with IT and business units to conduct security assessments, threat models, and validation of security guidance.
• Evangelize security within Qualcomm and drive company-wide environment hardening initiatives.
• Provide security recommendations on applications, systems, and network architectures.
• Establish alternative security measures for business continuity while protecting assets.
• Develop and advise on best practices for cloud platforms.
• Track data security findings to closure by collaborating with units and verifying remediation.
• Perform risk analysis for corporate areas and 3rd party providers relevant to data security.
• Mentor and provide guidance and leadership to staff.
