Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a cybersecurity advisor to support technology, development, and business stakeholders. You will embed security in initiatives, bridge offensive and defensive insights, and drive continuous improvement across IAM, email, endpoint protection, and incident response.

The role requires strong Application Security experience and advanced English for global collaboration. Initial on-site work with a hybrid transition to Polanco, Mexico City.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or related discipline.
  • Solid professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or related field.
  • Knowledge in offensive and defensive security collaboration environments, with a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident response, and security risk.
  • Experience or strong knowledge of Application Security, ideally with prior background.
  • Experience with identity security and access management, including AD, permissions, MFA, or identity federation.
  • Exposure to email security, endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, and security monitoring technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess findings and translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced English proficiency for international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a cybersecurity advisor to technology, development, and business stakeholders.
  • Strengthen the organization’s security posture with proactive improvements.
  • Embed security into technology initiatives and strengthen Application Security practices.
  • Bridge offensive and defensive security findings into actionable improvements.
  • Support IAM, email security, endpoint protection, threat analysis, and incident response initiatives.
  • Monitor security alerts, vulnerabilities, logs, and threats; coordinate remediation.
  • Conduct vulnerability and security assessments and prioritize remediation by risk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify gaps and practical solutions.
  • Work with Microsoft security technologies and related ecosystem.

Job description

  • Act as a cybersecurity advisor to technology, development, and business stakeholders, providing guidance on security risks, priorities, and improvement opportunities.
  • Help strengthen the organization's overall security posture, taking a proactive and continuous-improvement approach.
  • Partner closely with application development teams to embed security considerations into technology initiatives and strengthen Application Security practices.
  • Contribute bridging offensive and defensive security capabilities and translating findings into actionable improvements.
  • Support security initiatives across identity and access management, email security, endpoint security, threat analysis, and incident response.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, vulnerabilities, logs, and potential threats, coordinating appropriate remediation and escalation actions.
  • Conduct vulnerability and security assessments across application and infrastructure environments and work with IT teams to prioritize remediation based on risk.
  • Work with Microsoft security technologies and support security capabilities across the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal cybersecurity, governance, infrastructure, and development teams to identify security gaps and recommend practical solutions.
  • Support identity and access controls, including access reviews, permissions, MFA, and identity-related security initiatives.

Cyber role with exp. in application, identity, email, and enterprise security.Open to work on site at the beginning , then in a hybrid model in Polanco.

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant cybersecurity certifications are considered an advantage.
  • Solid professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or a related field.
