Michael Page International México Reclutamiento Especializado S.A. de C.V. seeks a cybersecurity advisor to guide technology, development, and business stakeholders on risks and priorities.

You will embed security into initiatives and strengthen Application Security practices while bridging offensive and defensive capabilities. You will support identity and access management, email security, endpoint protection, threat analysis, and incident response, monitoring alerts and remediation efforts.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or related field.
• Knowledge of offensive and defensive security collaboration environments with continuous improvement mindset.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident response, and security risk.
• Experience or strong knowledge of Application Security, ideally with a background.
• Experience with identity security and access management, including AD, permissions, MFA, or identity federation.
• Exposure to email security, endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, and security monitoring technologies.
• Strong analytical skills to assess findings and translate gaps into actions.
• Advanced English proficiency for international stakeholder communication.
• Open to on-site start and then hybrid in Polanco.

• Bridge offensive and defensive security capabilities and translate findings into actionable improvements.
• Support security initiatives across identity and access management, email security, endpoint security, threat analysis, and incident response.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts, vulnerabilities, logs, and threats; coordinate remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability and security assessments across applications and infrastructure; prioritize remediation by risk.
• Work with Microsoft security technologies and support security across the ecosystem.

• Act as a cybersecurity advisor to technology, development, and business stakeholders, providing guidance on security risks, priorities, and improvement opportunities.
• Help strengthen the organization's overall security posture, taking a proactive and continuous-improvement approach.
• Partner closely with application development teams to embed security considerations into technology initiatives and strengthen Application Security practices.
• Contribute bridging offensive and defensive security capabilities and translating findings into actionable improvements.
• Support security initiatives across identity and access management, email security, endpoint security, threat analysis, and incident response.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts, vulnerabilities, logs, and potential threats, coordinating appropriate remediation and escalation actions.
• Conduct vulnerability and security assessments across application and infrastructure environments and work with IT teams to prioritize remediation based on risk.
• Work with Microsoft security technologies and support security capabilities across the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
• Collaborate with internal cybersecurity, governance, infrastructure, and development teams to identify security gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Support identity and access controls, including access reviews, permissions, MFA, and identity-related security initiatives.

Perfil buscado

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant cybersecurity certifications are considered an advantage.
• Solid professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge in Offensive and Defensive Security Collaboration environments, with a strong continuous-improvement mindset.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident response, and security risk.
• Experience or strong knowledge of Application Security, ideally combined with a previous background.
• Experience with identity security and access management, including AD, permissions, MFA, or identity federation.
• Exposure to email security, endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, and security monitoring technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess findings, identify potential security gaps, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate confidently with international stakeholders.
• Open to work o site at the beginning and then in a hybrid model in Polanco.
