Job Description

Provide Information Security & Technology Risk Management consulting services to Project teams based on the client’s processes and procedures. Participate in project meetings, security reviews, walkthroughs, and risk assessments.

Key Accountabilities:

• Review requirements documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution designs to assess project feasibility and security risks, providing recommendations to improve security posture.
• Assess applications, infrastructure, business units, processes, and external suppliers for information security risks, identifying threats and exposures.
• Interpret requirements documents, architecture diagrams, and solution designs to identify potential security risks.
• Coordinate with third-party teams and internal groups to review penetration test results on internet-facing applications.
• Ensure code scans are completed for all new or modified code deployments.
• Track and resolve issues identified during risk management reviews, logging deficiencies when mitigation isn’t possible before implementation.
• Collaborate with internal teams as needed.
• Provide security risk consulting to ensure policies, standards, and processes are incorporated into solutions.
• Perform other requests from Senior Management.
• Develop a risk-based schedule for BAU risk assessments, collaborating with owners to address issues.
• Review third-party contracts to ensure security policies are followed and assets are protected.
• Conduct security reviews of initiatives and produce threat risk assessment reports with mitigation strategies.
• Balance business needs with security concerns, providing practical, risk-based recommendations.
• Work with technology teams to address vulnerabilities.
• Generate KPIs and analyze trends to improve security visibility.
• Stay informed on financial industry regulations regionally.
• Provide expert advice on security standards, policies, and frameworks, staying current with industry best practices.

Location: Remote (Must be based in South America)

Rate: $25/hour (dependent on experience). Contract position, 40 hours/week, duration 12 months.
