Molex in Mexico is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to lead development of core technologies for automotive connectors. You will drive front-end strategy, build roadmaps, and mentor engineers while ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and high-quality.

You will collaborate across teams, capture customer needs, perform DFMEA/DOE analyses, create GD&T drawings, and manage change through ECM. 10% travel expected.

Formación

• Minimum 6 years in automotive product design.
• Lead design development and roadmaps for core technologies.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with product management to develop technology roadmaps.
• Lead development of core technologies and manage design blocks.
• Document scope, requirements, feasibility, and work plans.
• Lead DFMEA, FEA, tolerance analysis and risk mitigation.
• Create GD&T models/drawings and manage ECM documentation.
• Develop test plans (DVP&R) and perform DOE and capability studies.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical reviews with teams.
• Travel ~10% as needed.
