Forvia in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a Controls Engineer to lead maintenance and TPM initiatives in a bi-metallic automotive environment. The role emphasizes downtime analysis, preventive maintenance, and procedures development, with hands-on PLC and robot systems experience.

Required are 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with hydraulic/pneumatic/welding equipment, and knowledge of ISO/IATF standards; TPM training and team leadership are valued for continuous improvement.

Formación

Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or electrical engineering degree required.
Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
3–5 years in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of TPM and industrial maintenance best practices.
Spare parts inventory management experience.
Experience managing personnel.
Knowledge of VDA 6.1, IATF 16949, ISO 14001/45001 standards.

Responsabilidades

Analyze machine and UAP downtime.
Labor analysis by Maintenance Technician.
Weekly downtime indicator analysis; issue monthly reports.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance program weekly.
Analyze preventive maintenance activities.
Issue weekly and monthly preventive maintenance routines; PM software administration.
Generate standard maintenance work procedures.
Coordinate weekly TPM meetings and train personnel in TPM topics.
Maintain extraction systems.
