Job summary

ALPLA Group in Toluca, Mexico is seeking a senior software development leader to drive the development, implementation, and modernization of business applications. You will gather requirements with business leaders and translate them into effective technology solutions, overseeing web app development across Front-End and Back-End teams.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, strong full-stack skills, DevOps familiarity, and intermediate English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
Minimum 5 years of software development and system implementation.
Experience in web app development with Front-End and Back-End.
Knowledge of Full-Stack languages and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
Experience in requirements analysis, project management, and team leadership.
Familiarity with ticketing and project tracking tools.
Intermediate English with ability to communicate in work contexts.

Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business applications and systems.
Gather requirements and translate into effective technology solutions with business leaders.
Evaluate project scope, costs, resources, and timelines for feasible delivery.
Manage web app development projects, coordinating Front-End and Back-End work.
Lead and develop the programming team, ensuring progress and quality.
Identify opportunities to modernize, improve, or replace existing systems.
Apply Agile methodologies and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
