Job summary

Nexaminds is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, optimize, and scale high-performance backend systems and modern cloud applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java, Python, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AI/LLM backend integrations, in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of backend engineering with Java and Python.
• Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and core backend systems.
• Familiar with LLMs and AI/ML integration patterns.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot to improve efficiency and code quality.
• Strong AppSec mindset with ability to fix vulnerabilities.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy scalable microservices, data pipelines, and APIs using Java, Python, and GCP.
• Modernize cloud infrastructure for high availability and data flow.
• Increase development velocity by leveraging GitHub Copilot in workflows.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce tests, and document technical details.
