Nexaminds in Mexico is seeking a Senior AI Developer to design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions that transform businesses. You will work on AI-powered features, automation workflows, and data-driven apps, collaborating with product, data, and business teams to ship production-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes Python, ML libraries, LLM APIs, RAG, and AI agent frameworks, with a focus on scalable, secure deployments and best practices in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Math, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in software development with 2+ years in applied AI/ML engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TF, HuggingFace).
• Hands-on with LLM APIs (OpenAI/Azure/Anthropic) and prompt engineering.
• Experience building RAG pipelines, vector search, and AI agents frameworks.
• Cloud AI/ML experience (Azure AWS GCP) and REST API, Docker, CI/CD.
• Strong data fundamentals, SQL, data wrangling and feature engineering.
• Good problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models and apps.
• Build and integrate LLM-powered features with APIs supporting RAG and AI agents.
• Develop data pipelines for model training and inference.
• Integrate AI into enterprise platforms with reliable deployment.
• Write clean, tested Python; participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders; participate in Agile sprints.
• Monitor models in production; diagnose and improve performance.
• Conduct rapid prototyping to evaluate new AI frameworks/tools.
• Document designs, data flows, API contracts, and runbooks.
• Follow responsible AI guidelines on fairness/privacy/ Explainability.
