Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Lead Azure Data Engineer to drive architecture and design of scalable Azure-based data platforms. You will mentor engineers, lead ETL/ELT pipelines with Python and Spark, and ensure governance and security across data sources and BI tools.

The role requires 8+ years of IT experience, a CS degree, strong English, and Agile experience. Hybrid work in Mexico with collaboration across teams in a global delivery model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years IT experience designing and developing data pipelines (Batch and Streaming) using Azure and Snowflake.
• Excellent English communication with stakeholders and teams.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture, design, and optimization of scalable data platforms on Azure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Lead data modeling, ETL/ELT, and performance tuning across Databricks, ADF, and Snowflake.
