Corning Incorporated is seeking a Working Leader for automation and process engineers to drive new equipment introductions and continuous improvements. You will lead a team in startup, scaleup, and cost-reduction projects, providing controls and mechanical expertise for integrated automation solutions.

The role demands strong project leadership, hands-on PLC/HMI programming, machine vision, and robotics experience, including Fanuc, with the ability to mentor and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of automation experience.
• Proven leadership and delivery of results on engineering projects.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and machine vision.
• Experience in scaleup of manufacturing processes and startup support.
• Strong communication across teams and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation and process engineers in startup and scaleup of high-volume equipment.
• Develop learning plans and mentor engineering team.
• Provide controls and electrical expertise for new equipment and cost reductions.
• Coordinate with system integrators and machine builders for integrated solutions.
• Drive project phases from design through start-up and sustainment.
• Ensure electrical drawings meet Corning standards.
• Communicate concepts effectively across peers and leadership.
