Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is building a new beverage concentrate plant in Huamantla, Tlaxcala, and seeks a Senior Manager, Automation to shape the automation blueprint. You will partner with site leadership and external specialists to deploy scalable systems that meet startup goals and long-term performance.

You will lead design, FAT/SAT testing, and start-up support, while embedding IoT, edge devices, and robotics to optimize reliability, safety, and efficiency across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years in automation/digitalization in complex manufacturing.
• 2+ years of leadership experience; strong vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation strategy and implementation for the greenfield plant.
• Translate global principles to fit local operations and start-up objectives.
• Oversee design/delivery of PLC/SCADA and Batch control systems.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT tests and early production readiness.
• Embed IoT, edge computing, and energy monitoring technologies.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance for industrial installations.
