Job summary
The North American Production Sharing, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician to keep automated manufacturing lines running reliably in Otay, Tijuana. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electromechanical systems and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced facility.
The role requires hands-on experience with automation, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and strong safety practices to minimize downtime and improve uptime and OEE metrics.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automation equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
- Experience with installation, startup, commissioning, and process validation.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for production equipment, including installation, setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support ramp-ups by stabilizing new automation equipment and driving performance improvements.
