Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a qualified engineer to lead research and development efforts in its focus area, mentor engineers, and contribute to internal and industry knowledge sharing. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to SEL Values and manufacturing principles.

The candidate should hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, be able to travel as needed, and actively contribute to mentoring and product expertise across SEL focus areas.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership and expert-level knowledge within SEL focus areas.
• Excellent communication, writing, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel as required by business needs.
• Ability to mentor and develop SEL engineers.
• Ability to learn new skills and work cooperatively in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Research, lead, and develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems within focus area.
• Teach, develop, and mentor SEL engineers and support hiring the best employees.
• Present technical papers, reports, and application notes at internal and industry meetings.
• Protect SEL Intellectual Property via patent and copyright applications.
• Model SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.
