Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an R&D Associate Test Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on electric power system integrations and automation solutions.

You will design, develop, test, and validate features for SEL products, and support verification of various communication protocols and system integrations. The role emphasizes applying engineering principles, executing test plans and simulations, and communicating results through clear documentation

Formación

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and validate integration and automation features for SEL products.
• Support the implementation and verification of communication protocols, automation functions, and system integrations used in electric power system applications.
• Develop and execute test plans, simulations, and laboratory evaluations to verify product functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Apply engineering principles and analytical methods to evaluate and improve power system protection, communication, and automation solutions.
• Communicate technical information through documentation, test reports, and technical discussions.
